MrBeast is Jimmy Donaldson, the YouTube stunt-video maker who turned his channels into Beast Industries, a company spanning media, snacks and now finance. Ask about MrBeast net worth and you hit a gap: the outlets that publish wealth rankings (Forbes, Bloomberg, the Sunday Times) had not produced a figure for him by October 2026. The record shows a majority stake in a company Forbes says has reportedly raised money at a $5 billion valuation, plus Forbes earnings estimates.
Where it stands: In late October 2026, Tubefilter reported that Mastercard will run co-branded programs with Beast Industries, the latest in a run of finance moves that included buying the teen money app Step in February 2026.

Who is MrBeast?
He is a North Carolina creator whose company now employs a professional management team and sells far more than videos. Bloomberg, in a 2025 report published by Fortune, wrote that Donaldson began uploading as an 11-year-old, filming himself playing Call of Duty and Minecraft, before dropping out of college to make YouTube his full-time job.
Scale is the defining feature. Forbes’ 2026 profile says his channels have more than 640 million subscribers and draw more than 5 billion views a year. In a January 2026 release, Bitmine Immersion Technologies described MrBeast as the world’s most-subscribed YouTube channel.
How MrBeast became famous
The short version: expensive challenge videos with simple, extreme premises, then a jump to streaming television. Bloomberg reported that the typical main-channel video had come to cost several million dollars, and that he then pitched streaming services on a TV show.
That stage was Amazon. Amazon’s fee for season one was about $100 million, Bloomberg reported, yet Beast Industries still lost money on it because its spending passed $100 million. Forbes says a second season has aired on Prime Video and that “Season 3 is in production.”
Charity campaigns also built his reputation. With engineer and YouTuber Mark Rober, he raised $20 million for #TeamTrees in 2019 and ran #TeamSeas, a $30 million campaign, Tubefilter reported; their 2025 #TeamWater drive set a $40 million goal. The Bitmine release says Beast Philanthropy, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit tied to his company, has provided over 20 million free meals. Rober’s own finances are covered in our Mark Rober profile.
How MrBeast makes money
Most of the money flows through Beast Industries rather than to him directly. Forbes lists the company’s lines as media, food (Feastables and Lunchly), the analytics tool Viewstats, and toy and clothing licensing.
- Chocolate. Investor documents seen by Bloomberg put Feastables’ 2024 sales at about $250 million, with profit above $20 million.
- Media. YouTube revenue plus the Amazon show. Bloomberg reported the media arm had sales similar to Feastables but lost money.
- Finance. Forbes says Beast Industries bought Step, an app that teaches investing to teens, in February 2026.
Forbes estimates his personal earnings each year. Fortune reported that Forbes estimated those earnings at $85 million between April 2024 and April 2025. On the 2026 Top Creators list, he ranked first again, at $300 million, Tubefilter reported. Forbes says it ranks creators on “account earning, entrepreneurship, and clout (follower and engagement ratio).”
Earnings and net worth are different things: earnings are what someone takes in during a year, while net worth is a snapshot of assets left over after subtracting debts.
Beast Industries: his stake and the valuation
A private valuation is what a funding round implies the whole company is worth; it does not put cash in a founder’s pocket. Alpha Wave led a $300 million Series C, Bloomberg reported, at a valuation near $5 billion, citing people familiar with the terms; a few months before, the figure had been roughly $1.5 billion. The same report said the company had lost money three years running, including almost $60 million in 2024.
New money kept coming. On January 15, 2026, Bitmine Immersion Technologies announced a $200 million equity investment in Beast Industries. The release did not state a valuation or the stake Bitmine received.
As for Donaldson’s own share, Fortune reported that he owns “more than half of his $5 billion company Beast Industries.” No filing discloses the exact percentage, because the company is private.
MrBeast net worth: what the estimates say
None of the publications that value fortunes from documented holdings has put a dated number on his. Forbes has published his annual earnings but, in the sources we reviewed, no net worth figure; we found no Bloomberg Billionaires Index entry for him.
One number does circulate. Fortune wrote in 2026: “Through his assets, Donaldson is projected to be worth at least $2.6 billion.” Fortune did not say who made that projection or how it was calculated, so we treat it as unverified rather than as an estimate on par with a Forbes or Bloomberg valuation.
Donaldson himself pushes back on the idea that he is cash-rich. “I’m borrowing money. That’s how little money I have,” he told the Wall Street Journal, as quoted by Fortune. He has also said he keeps less than $1 million for himself and explained, “I personally have very little money because I reinvest everything.” His summary of the gap between paper wealth and spending money: “I have negative money right now.”
Peers on our site with similar paper-versus-cash questions include Ryan Trahan and Marques Brownlee, neither of whom has a published estimate either.
