Who is Travis Kelce?
Kelce is one of the most decorated tight ends of his era. Forbes listed him in September 2025 with 10 Pro Bowl selections and three Super Bowl rings, all won in Kansas City. Off the field, the podcast he started with Jason before the 2022 season has grown into a major business of its own.
What is Travis Kelce’s Chiefs contract worth?
His current deal is three years on paper and roughly one year in substance. Pro Football Talk, citing a source, reported these terms in March 2026:
- $12 million for 2026, made up of a fully guaranteed $3 million base salary, a fully guaranteed $3 million reporting bonus, and $6 million in per-game roster bonuses;
- up to $3 million more in 2026 incentives tied to playing time and playoff results;
- minimum salaries for 2027 and 2028, plus a $40 million roster bonus in 2028.
That 2028 bonus is the catch. Sports Illustrated reported that the $40 million guarantee vests on June 8 of next year, which, in its analysis, will force the Chiefs to release him by then unless the deal is reworked. A roster bonus is money paid for being on the team on a set date; guaranteed money is owed even if the player is cut.
Before this deal, Forbes noted, the two-year, $34.25 million extension he signed in April 2024 set the NFL record for average annual value for a tight end.
How much does New Heights make?
The exact size of the podcast deal was never announced. In August 2024 the Kelce brothers signed with Amazon’s Wondery. Variety reported, citing a source familiar with the pact, that the three-year deal was worth more than $100 million. Forbes later put it at a minimum of $105 million, also citing a source.
Under the agreement, Variety reported, Wondery holds exclusive rights to sell ads on and distribute the audio and video episodes, plus merchandise rights. Whatever the total, it is split between two hosts, and neither brother has said how. Among other awards, the show took the top podcast prize at the 2024 iHeartPodcast Awards, ESPN reported.
Travis Kelce net worth: what is and isn’t published
Only earnings estimates exist. Forbes put his 2025 earnings at $47.3M on its list of the highest-paid NFL players, published in September 2025. That is an estimate of one year’s income, not a tally of assets. Net worth would subtract taxes, fees and spending and add investments, and none of the outlets we accept for wealth estimates has put out such a figure for him.
A 2026 Forbes earnings figure for Kelce did not appear on his Forbes profile when we checked in October 2026, so the 2025 number remains the latest one we can cite.
Travis Kelce’s investments
Kelce has moved from endorsing brands to owning pieces of them, at least in two public companies:
- Sleep Number: The company said in late January 2026 that he would buy common stock on the open market and receive restricted stock units vesting over the initial three-year term, alongside appearing in its national advertising. Restricted stock units are shares granted over time as long as conditions are met. Reuters reported the stake is under five percent, and that the company did not disclose its exact size or value.
- Six Flags: Activist investor JANA Partners announced in October 2025 that Kelce, consumer executive Glenn Murphy and technology executive Dave Habiger had joined it in a Six Flags investment, with the group together holding an economic interest of approximately 9%. Kelce’s individual share was not stated. Reuters reported that Six Flags stock jumped 18% on the news.
- Private brands: Reuters also listed Garage Beer and the tequila soda maker Casa Azul among his private investments. Garage Beer said in June 2024 that Travis and Jason had become its largest investors.
Reuters added that his investments draw more attention than most players’ because of his engagement to Taylor Swift. Our Patrick Mahomes profile covers the quarterback’s own ownership stakes.
What’s next for Kelce’s money?
The contract calendar sets the next decision point. Under the terms Pro Football Talk and Sports Illustrated described, the Chiefs and Kelce must settle his future before that $40 million guarantee vests in June 2027, while the Wondery agreement was signed in August 2024 for three years. The Sleep Number advertising deal, by contrast, runs over the next three years from January 2026, according to the company.
