Ludwig is Ludwig Ahgren, the streamer who set what was then Twitch’s paid-subscriber record with a 2021 “subathon” and has since built side businesses in events, game publishing and esports. Searching Ludwig net worth turns up plenty of numbers, yet as of October 2026 none comes from Forbes, the Bloomberg index or the Sunday Times list, and no major newsroom has calculated one. Unusually for a streamer, though, Ahgren has disclosed some of his own platform income, which gives a firmer floor than most profiles have.
Where it stands: Ahgren became a free agent when his YouTube exclusive ended in November 2024 and now streams on Twitch and YouTube at once. In July 2026 Dexerto quoted him saying his video editors each earn “hundreds of thousands” a year, plus a cut of what each video makes.

Who is Ludwig Ahgren?
Ahgren is a variety streamer and Super Smash Bros. Melee commentator who also hosts the podcast The Yard, according to Tubefilter, which reported he had streamed full-time on Twitch since February 2019.
The subathon that made his name
His breakout was a stream with no fixed end. In March 2021 he started a “subathon” in which every new subscription added ten seconds to the clock. When it passed the old mark in April, Tubefilter reported he had 273,585 active subscriptions, beating the 269,154 that Ninja reached in 2018. (Tubefilter’s later coverage put his peak at 283,000.) A Twitch subscription is a monthly payment from a viewer that the platform splits with the streamer.
From YouTube exclusive to streaming independence
Ahgren left Twitch for an exclusive YouTube deal at the end of 2021. He said YouTube offered more money and kept pursuing him after he first declined, eventually offering a contract that required fewer streaming hours so he could pursue other projects, Tubefilter reported. The dollar value was not disclosed.
That three-year contract ended in November 2024, Dexerto reported, and by January 2025 he had begun multistreaming on both platforms instead of signing a new exclusive.
How Ludwig makes money
Ahgren has shared more income data than most peers. In the same January 2025 discussion, Dexerto reported, he revealed that he made over $2.3M on Twitch in 2021 and just over $500K on YouTube in 2022. Those figures cover platform revenue only. The YouTube number may not include the exclusive contract’s guaranteed payments, which were never public, and neither figure includes sponsorships or business income.
His costs are large too. Speaking at Streamer University in 2026, he said “You know what my editors make? Hundreds of thousands. All of them,” and added that he shares a percentage of each video’s revenue, Dexerto reported.
Ludwig’s companies: Offbrand and esports
His business record is mixed, and in one case he chose to give his stake away.
Offbrand. In 2022 he became one of four founders of Offbrand, a studio producing creator game shows and events, Tubefilter reported. The idea grew out of his own productions: his Jeopardy-style quiz Mogul Money had moved from his stream to a live show at the YouTube Theater, and Offbrand’s first outside project was a game show for fellow streamer xQc. A production studio of this kind earns fees for making shows that run on a creator’s own channel, so it depends on a steady pipeline of creators willing to fund big events. In June 2024 the company added a publishing arm, Offbrand Games, and Ahgren relinquished his ownership as Offbrand became a worker-owned cooperative. Explaining the decision, he said: “I’m good, money-wise,” Tubefilter reported. Its first published title, Rivals of Aether 2, reached the top of the Steam charts in October 2024. Two months later the events side shut down; the company said it “failed to make the events business sustainable,” and Ahgren referred to a $3 million accounting hole, according to Tubefilter. The publisher’s own site describes it as fully privately owned.
Moist Esports and Shopify Rebellion. In January 2023 he became co-owner of Moist Esports, the team founded by Charlie “Cr1TiKaL” White (Tubefilter). In January 2025 Moist merged into Shopify Rebellion, with both men becoming co-owners. White said Moist had lost approximately $4.2 million over four years, Tubefilter reported. Ahgren’s share of those losses was not disclosed.
Ludwig net worth: what the estimates say
No credible estimate is available to cite. The major wealth lists do not cover him, and no leading outlet has calculated his fortune.
What can be said is limited and specific. Income is what he earned in a given year; net worth is what he owns after debts, today. His disclosed platform income shows he has earned millions, but taxes, staff pay, a business he gave away and losses at an esports team he co-owned all sit on the other side of the ledger, and none of those amounts is public. For streamers whose wealth is just as unpriced, compare our Pokimane profile and Ninja profile.
Charity
Ahgren regularly raises money on stream. During the 2021 subathon he pledged donations per subscription to charities including No Kid Hungry, Tubefilter reported. In January 2025 he and his podcast co-hosts raised $224,000 for Los Angeles wildfire relief in a 12-hour Rock Band stream, Dexerto reported.
